About  IAVE Taiwan

IAVE Taiwan was founded in 2001 as the representative Organization of International Association for Volunteer Effort (IAVE) in Taiwan. IAVE Taiwan aims to create a democratic society where is free to exchange of ideas, actions and resources between local and global voluntary organizations. As serving the essential role in the global volunteer network, we connect NGOs, NPOs, Governments and Business to the world, strengthen communication with International society and promote global volunteering in Taiwan. IAVE Taiwan has actively allied with various domestic and international NGOs/NPOs to respond the social needs and led partner organizations to participate in relevant international events to show the inclusive force from Taiwan.
During the past 15 years, IAVE Taiwan has successfully led over 450 groups from the governments, NGOs and companies to participate in international volunteer events, held more than 70 seminars and workshops and presented 80 papers to share the viewpoints of Taiwan. We also provide professional training and management services for large scale events and create the key human resource database for international events including The World Games in Kaohsiung, Taipei International Flora Exposition, Yunlin Agriculture Expo and 2013 Asia Pacific Cities Summit. Since 2011, IAVE Taiwan facilitates the youth volunteer exchange programs – Journey of Dream which have had involved over 600 students from 10 countries to be part of volunteerism.
